The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease through an aggressively funded research agenda and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today. In 2009 Carol's husband, Pat Hagan, was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Upon learning of his diagnosis, Pat and Carol turned to The Fox Foundation for more information and answers. They found a vast wealth of resources in providing both information about Parkinson's Disease, living with it, and what leading research and clinical trials are revealing in the ongoing battle to fight this disease. The Fox Foundation provided much information for us, as well as detailed outlines of their aggressive funding of research conducted to both treat the symptoms of people living with the disease, and to finding the cure. Pat and Carol were inspired by the efforts of The Fox Foundation, and wanted to find ways to help raise funds to help assist them in their mission.
We are offering the entire amount of each sale of "Leap of Faith" as a full donation to The Fox Foundation, because of the generosity of Scott and Karen Cox at Rimrock Art & Frame. View "Leap of Faith" and learn how you can help find a cure for Parkinson's here.

Sue Vermette is a dear friend, and now a new member of our team. Sue recently retired from a 32 year teaching career in Special Education. During her career as a dedicated teacher of children with special needs, it was Sue's love for children that inspired her to learn more all the time, as she strove to be able to learn to meet each of their individual needs. She is passionate about the care of those youth that require extra assistance in their journey to both cope with their individual physical challenges, as well as to meet their needs to gaining knowledge. We are passionate about honoring Sue's commitment to her children and the school she taught at for 32 years.
$30 from the sale of each print in the limited edition of "Joyful Noise" will be donated directly to benefit Sue's mission to assist her school's funding for the children in their special needs program. See the print and learn more about Sue's Kids.
