Carol's painting, "Starry, Starry Night", was included in the "Continuing the Legacy: The Russell Skull Society of Artists" first-ever exhibition at the C.M. Russell Museum in Great Falls, Montana. This extraordinary exhibit featured works by Charles M. Russell and his contemporaries, and one masterpiece from each Russell Skull Society Artist. This exhibition will eventually become a traveling version, that will include five exhibition venues around the country.

"To situate the Russell Skull Society artists in their historical context, the exhibition will also include artwork by the progenitors of the American Western art tradition, including Charles Russell, Thomas Moran, Joseph Sharp, Carl Rungius, Alexander Phimister Proctor and O.C. Seltzer," explains Chief Curator Sarah Burt. "This introductory gallery of historical art establishes the principal subjects of the Western art genre in such themems as cowboy culture, American Indian life, western wildlife and landscape that continue to be featured in the evolving styles and media of contemporary American Western artists."
