Carol, along with Kevin Red Star who also painted a life-sized colt called "Future War Horse", donated these works to the fundraising efforts for Angel Horses.
Angel Horses is a unique human service organization located in Billings, Montana. Their mission is to provide positive physical and emotional stimulus to the Senior community – especially those afflicted with Alzheimer’s – through the use of rescued animals such as horses, donkeys, dogs and cats in a therapeutic environment. Angel Horses services also extend to at-risk youth, special needs children and individuals and families affected by cancer.
