Full Palette

I use the term "Full Palette" to describe my works in this series. My passion and love for color is clearly evident in these paintings. I am often asked how I start my paintings, and why I choose the colors that I do. I start each piece with the eyes...if they don't look right to me, the rest of the painting isn't going to work. I don't start each piece with a specific color scheme in mind, rather, the painting will let me know what colors will best convey the spirit of the piece, as well as the personality of the horse, as each painting evolves in its' own right. This is a collection of works currently available in upcoming Museum shows and fine galleries, as well as a few of my favorites from recent years.
